"Biology Practical"

On 29th March 2009, the students of 5 Beta did something cruel memorable by dissecting a total of 12 out of 13 frogs in the Biology Lab.

Now, let's look at the steps (the 5 Beta way >.<) on how the process was done..

Step 1: Make the frogs faint

Place the frogs (2-3 frogs at a time) into the "jar"

Dab a piece of cotton wool with formalin to make the frogs faint for at least 5 minutes

Step 2: Demonstration by Pn. Rumaizah

*Pn. Rumaizah: Kamu ni pelajar sains ke...pelajar bukan sains?

We sounded a little too excited lol

Well..the frog is put back inside because it was still moving.. I know I know this looks so cruel but..sigh. At least the frog isn't in pain when we dissect it.

And the real demo began...

*haha so many background voices!!

Step 3: Beta-ians in action

We're getting excited...and we decided to take a few photos before getting our hands on the frogs

I'm sure SBU-ians can guess who she is...!!! xD

And here goes...

This pic looks nice. =/ I like how the scalpel reflect the light.

Gaaya: Organs for SALE!!

Before and after (laughs)

.

Here's Helena enjoying her "meal"

This is totally gross. Poor froggie =(

And that's the end for the frogs.

After all the cleaning up, we got bored and fooled around the Biology Lab. And we took pictures with the skeleton model..!!! (^-^)

Skelly (the skeleton) is taller than either one of us ahehe.

**Many thanks to (mainly) Jordan, Azry, Keiyan and Nikhitha for taking these photos =))

**and soooo sorry for posting this so terribly late!
